Illustrations
The hero illustrations at the top of our pages and articles are made with AI image tools. They are drawn in a flat, graphic style and show no real person, place or event, so nobody could take them for a photograph. They decorate a topic; they never stand in as evidence for a claim. If we ever publish an image made or edited with AI that could pass for a real photo, it carries a visible “AI” label on the image, in its caption and in its alternative text.
Text
Our editors use AI tools for parts of the writing process, such as structuring a draft, suggesting wording or checking that a page covers the questions readers ask. A person reviews every page before it goes live. Facts, figures and offer terms are checked before publication, against the primary source wherever one exists: the Gambling Commission register, an operator’s own terms page or the official statement behind a news item. The editor named on the page answers for its content, and editorial responsibility for the whole site lies with its publisher, Lucy Powell, as set out in our terms of use.
Data, ratings and offers
The numbers on this site do not come from an AI tool. Football margins are calculated from the prices we record every day, ratings follow the published formula on our how we rate page, and every welcome offer is checked against its terms and dated in its offer box. If any figure looks wrong to you, our editorial policy explains how corrections are handled.
Video narration
Our explainer videos are narrated with a synthetic voice made by a text-to-speech tool. The script is written and checked by our editors, and every video comes with captions and a full written transcript on the same page.
Questions
If you want to know whether AI was used for a particular page or image, write to the postal address in our privacy policy. We will tell you what was used and what a person checked.
