Grosvenor Sport review: offer and racing BOG

Our Grosvenor Sport review finds a sportsbook built for racing fans and casual football punters. Best odds guaranteed and daily extra places cover UK and Irish racing, and the sign up offer doubles the odds on a first bet with winnings paid in cash. Lower-league football prices are wide in our data, and the Android app is poorly rated.

Grosvenor Sport in short

This Grosvenor Sport review looks at the betting side of a name better known for casinos. Grosvenor runs dozens of venues across Britain, and its website adds a full sportsbook to the casino, live casino and poker products. We review the sportsbook alone. Racing gets the most care, with best odds guaranteed, extra places and live race pictures.

Football is the other big draw, with a busy page of price boosts on the evening’s matches, bet builders and an Auto Sub rule for player bets. Behind the screens sits the Kambi platform, which also powers other well-known sportsbooks. The file below sets out the licence, our measured football margin and the welcome deal currently on offer.

The licence and the Rank Group

Grosvenor’s online business is licensed through Rank Interactive (Gibraltar) Limited, account 57924, with its head office at the Rank Group in Maidenhead. Its remote betting, casino, bingo and gambling software permissions all date from 11 March 2022. On the Commission register the licence lists twelve active domains, including grosvenorcasinos.com, meccabingo.com and kittybingo.com.

The register shows no regulatory action against that online licensee. Rank’s land-based side has a different story. In October 2026 three Rank-owned casino companies, Grosvenor Casinos Limited among them, agreed to pay £5m over money laundering and safer gambling failures in their venues, and the three will also undergo a third-party audit.

Those companies run 51 casinos across Great Britain, and the failings concerned customers at the tables, not online betting accounts. We mention the case because the brand is shared and readers will see the headlines. It says something about group culture, but it is a separate licence, and nothing in it touches how a Grosvenor Sport bet is settled.

The Grosvenor Sport sign up offer: Double Your Odds

The Grosvenor Sport sign up offer is unusual: there is no free bet. You deposit £10, place a first bet of £10 on any sport, and a 100% odds boost token doubles its profit. The promotion page’s how-to steps name odds of evens or bigger. If the bet wins, the extra winnings are paid in cash on settlement.

A worked example makes it clear. Say you back a horse at 3/1 with £10. Normally a winner returns £40; with the profit doubled it returns £70, all of it withdrawable. If it loses, you have lost £10 and there is nothing to fall back on. That is the trade-off against a bet-and-get free bet offer.

The small print matters. The boost applies to fractional odds only, the maximum stake is £10 or £5 each way, and you have 60 days from registering to use it. Paysafecard deposits do not qualify, and Irish residents are excluded. Our free bets guide compares this style of offer with ordinary free bets.

Grosvenor Sport racing: BOG and extra places

Racing is the strongest part of any Grosvenor Sport review. Best odds guaranteed covers UK and Irish horse racing for bets placed from 9am on race day, so a price taken in the morning is settled at the starting price if the horse drifts. It does not apply to in-running bets, and greyhounds are left out altogether.

Extra places appear on selected races every day, with some big fields paying five places. The each way fraction on those races can drop from a quarter to a fifth of the odds, so check the terms on the bet slip. Our each way betting guide shows when a fifth on five places beats a quarter on three.

Live pictures of UK and Irish racing are available through the racing section to customers who meet the streaming conditions. One side point on the Grosvenor best odds guaranteed terms: comparison sites report a cap of £25,000 on the extra winnings it can pay. Few punters will ever approach it, but it is there in the terms.

We do not record racing prices, so this review cannot tell you whether Grosvenor’s racing odds are generous. The practical habit is to compare the morning price at two or three bookmakers with the same concession. Our horse racing betting sites page lines up best odds guaranteed and extra places across the main firms.

Football prices and the Kambi engine

Grosvenor’s football odds come from Kambi, and they are part of the feed we record every day. In the current tables its Premier League book is far keener than its overall figure, which means the lower divisions and cups carry a fat margin. A League Two bettor pays noticeably more for the same market than a Premier League bettor.

Coverage, by contrast, is excellent: Grosvenor prices almost every fixture we track, from the Scottish Premiership to the EFL Cup. The file above shows the median margin and price position, and our bookmaker margins tables split the figures league by league. For top-flight football the prices hold up; further down, compare before you bet.

The football promotions are lively. Recent boosts lifted player and scorer prices on Champions League nights with a £20 maximum stake, a bet builder boost token was offered for a big European tie, and a free-to-play game invites one shirt pick a day. Auto Sub keeps a player bet alive on the substitute who replaces your player.

Cash out and bet builders

Cash out works on selected events before and during play, on singles and multiples. It cannot be used on free bets or on each way bets, and a request can be turned down if the price moves during the acceptance delay. Bet builders cover football in depth, and boosted bet builder prices turn up on the bigger European fixtures.

In-play betting runs across football, tennis, basketball and the rest of a long sports list that reaches from snooker and darts to chess and trotting. An NBA promotion pays back 10% of weekly in-play losses on cash bets, and a Bench Boost rule covers some player markets. Read each promotion’s terms in full before you rely on it.

Payments and withdrawals

Grosvenor takes Visa and Mastercard debit cards, Apple Pay, PayPal and Paysafecard, with a £5 minimum on cards and £10 on PayPal, reviewers report. UK law has kept credit cards out of gambling since April 2020. Bear in mind that a Paysafecard deposit rules you out of the welcome offer, so choose a card or PayPal for the first payment.

Withdrawals go back to cards, Apple Pay or PayPal, and the cashier quotes one to three working days. One reviewer’s money arrived the next morning. Grosvenor may also ask you to share bank statement data through an Open Banking service run by Experian, part of its checks. Our financial risk checks guide explains why bookmakers ask.

The app: the weak spot

The apps are where this Grosvenor Sport review turns critical. The iPhone app is rated reasonably from a few thousand users, but the Android version scores very poorly from a small number of reviewers. The figures in the file above come from the two stores and feed our app criterion, which averages them.

Customer service is reached by live chat, which starts with an automated assistant before a person takes over, by phone on 0800 083 1990 or by email. If a complaint drags on beyond eight weeks, the dispute resolution service named in the terms can review it free of charge, as the Commission’s complaints rules require.

Safer gambling tools

The account menu holds both gross and net deposit limits, a Take a Break time-out, a reality check reminder and self-exclusion, which is a fuller set than many bookmakers show on the first screen. Rank Interactive is signed up to GAMSTOP, the free national scheme covering every GB-licensed online operator.

Gross limits count every pound you pay in, while net limits allow for money you have withdrawn; the gross version is the stricter of the two and the one we recommend. Set it before you claim the sign up offer. Our responsible gambling page lists free, confidential help if betting has stopped feeling like a pastime.

Grosvenor Sport review verdict

Our Grosvenor Sport review recommends it mainly to racing punters. Best odds guaranteed, daily extra places and race streams make a solid racing account, and the cash-paid odds boost is a welcome change from free bets with expiry dates. Premier League bettors will find fair prices and plenty of boosts on the big European nights.

It suits lower-league football bettors and Android users less. The wider margins below the top flight add up over many bets, and the Android app needs work. Our advice: open Grosvenor for racing and the occasional Premier League boost, use a debit card for the first deposit, and set a gross deposit limit on day one.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Who runs Grosvenor Sport?

Grosvenor Sport is part of the Rank Group, the company behind Grosvenor's casinos. The online licence is held by Rank Interactive (Gibraltar) Limited, Gambling Commission account 57924.

How does the Grosvenor Sport Double Your Odds offer work?

New customers deposit £10 and place a first bet of £10 on any sport. A 100% odds boost token doubles the profit on that bet, and the extra winnings are paid in cash, with no free bet to use afterwards.

Can I use Paysafecard for the Grosvenor Sport welcome offer?

No. Deposits made with Paysafecard do not qualify. The offer is also closed to customers living in the Republic of Ireland, and only one is available per person, household or device.

How long do I have to use the Grosvenor odds boost token?

The token can be used within 60 days of registering. If your first bet is smaller than £10, the unused part of the boost is lost, so stake the full amount or nothing at all.

Does Grosvenor Sport have best odds guaranteed?

Yes, on UK and Irish horse racing, for bets placed from 9am on race day. It does not apply to in-running bets or to greyhounds, and comparison sites report a £25,000 cap on the extra winnings.

Does Grosvenor Sport offer extra places?

Yes. The racing section lists selected races each day with extra places, sometimes paying five places on a big field. The each way fraction on those races can be set at one fifth of the odds.

Can I cash out at Grosvenor Sport?

Yes, on selected events before and during play, on singles and multiples. Cash out cannot be used on free bets or each way bets, and a request can be refused if the price moves during the acceptance delay.

How long do Grosvenor Sport withdrawals take?

The cashier quotes one to three working days for most methods. Your identity has to be checked first, and Grosvenor can ask for bank statement data through an Open Banking service run by Experian.

Has Grosvenor been fined by the Gambling Commission?

Not the online licensee. In October 2026 three Rank-owned land-based casino companies, including Grosvenor Casinos Limited, agreed to pay £5m over money laundering and safer gambling failures in their venues.
